A question about Dismember

I had the one with "Dreaming in red" on it. At first I thought it was a cool cd, but after 10-20 listens or something it simply becam boring as hell! "Dreaming in red" is still one of the only death metal songs that I truly like though!
I haven't heard any of their other songs, but that cd quickly became really, really repetitive and monotonous!

Dreaming in Red is a great song, but Dismember is one of my favorite all-time bands. You have greatly offended me. :( :p

Massive Killing Capacity is the album I really don't like. They were trying to follow Entombed around every curve and turn, so when Entombed started playing the more Motorhead and rock influenced groove type of thing with Wolverine Blues and hollowman, Dismember decided to follow suit. The thing I DID like about that album though were the very Megadeth sounding bits on some songs like...Collecting the Dead I think. I recognized the Megadeth chord progressions and I liked that...rambling...

Oh, I'm glad no one has listed "Hate Campaign" as a favorite. That album is just so.....meh......

I love Massive Killing Capacity and Death Metal. Hate Campaign was a bit weak imo. That's what i got from Dismember.
Death Metal just blows me away, i think it deserves its title ;)
I'm anxious to hear their new work which is supposed to be released early 2003. Hope it's a lot better than Hate Campaign.

Death Metal was alright by me, although certainly nothing earthshattering. Hate Campaign was a waste of 15 bucks. I don't understand why bands decide to cut albums seemingly just for the hell of it, when you listen you hear nothing to suggest they were really driven or inspired. Bah.
