If women didnt date just jackasses, how would we cool, intelligent, sophisticated, sexy, humourous and generally fabulous guys know how good we were?

What sucks for me is that girls are flirting with me left right and centre and behind and above and below and all other directions, but because of "The Food/Social Chain", and me being a METALHEAD, they sorta know it would be bad for their reputation to be my girlfriend...
Oh well...
It just means I get to be feeled up by girls and not have to commit...
Actually, only one feels me... on my back... and I have wanted her for about a year now... hopefully something will come of that....

Furthermore, why does anyone go out with anyone at all? Is it out of genuine (if somewhat short-lived) attraction, sexual frustration or an overwhelming desire to be part of the grand conspiracy between Hollywood and Hallmark greeting cards? I've never understood it and probably never will

To be self-sacrificing, generous and loving is not in human nature, and that's what any relationship needs if it's going to be successful. I look around me and I see people trapped in these situations, with no feelings for each other apart from deep, simmering resentment. Do they do it because once upon a time they cared about each other, or were they pressured to pair off by friends/family/social expectations? Case in point, the kind of person who thinks their life is worthless if they're not married by the time they're 30.

I have spent many years trying to work out the female mind (still have a long way to go)
For some strange reason a lot of girls like the idea of going out with a known asshole with a bad reputation and trying to change them to the perfect boyfriend. I don't know why they bother because it harld ever works.
Many girls will say things like 'He's such a nice guy but he is a bit of a walkover' or 'I want a guy who will keep my on my toes' and my all time favourite 'I see him as more of a good friend'.
Now for all you nice guys out there, there are actually girls out there who are looking for you, but most of them are a little older and have already learnt the hard way that its much better to get a guy that is good for them in the first place. So look for girls over about 22 or 23.
