a question relating directly to what i'm doing at this present moment in time...

i've got it working! :)

only trouble is, it means i've got to get used to the french keyboard. but i seem to remember being faced with the same dilemma when i was living in paris.

well for starters the french keyboard was swapped the a and the q, as well as the x and the w. which is indeed strange. other strange stuff is starting to reveal itself too. it's changed me :cry:

'a' and 'q','z' and 'w','m' and ',?'
for the various caracters, it's the number who are used (not those from the numeric pad) without the caps lock
the second caracter is what you obtains if you pressed Alt Gr in the same time

1 : &
2 : é ~
3 : " #
4 : ' {
5 : ( [
6 : - |
7 : è `
8 : _ \
9 : ç ^
0 : à @
i don't know what are the 3 keys at the right of '0' on qwerty keyboards, but for the azerty keyboards it is :
° : ) ]
+ : = }
µ : *

hope it helps
if it wasn't clear ask me in private
