This happened in an university, here in Turkey. its pretty funny... told to me by a friend.
Four roommates who are in the same class were late to an exam. They couldnt wake up because their alarm didnt ring. anyway, they went to school and made a lie and told the theacher that they were coming to school for the exam but while they were on the road in their car, one of the tires punctured and they couldnt be at school in time for the exam. And for that reason, they asked to the theacher to make another exam for just the four of them.
The teacher accepted and 2 days after, they were in the class for the exam. Theacher made them sit separate, like each of them sat in one corner of the class... to avoid copying and talking and all.
They were so happy that their lie worked...
There was only one question on the paper: Which tire punctured?
