A silly question about Audio card (Saffire Pro 24)...

The question is easy. Each time I turn of the computer I turn on the audio card switch so its fed by the firewire port. The question is I see that the switch is not reliable and it could break easily. Is there any problem turning it on all the time so the Saffire turns on and off when I start or shut down my pc ?

The switch will be fine. Focusrite recommends turning it on and off independently of the PC. In case of a PC power spike, you fry the PC and not the interface as well.
