Saffire Pro 40 & Firewire Card

Hey, i just ordered a saffire pro 40 since i decided to upgrade from a line 6 UX1. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on it as far as tips and tricks go with it, i saw another thread on here about it but i didn't know if anyone else had anything to say about it.

Also i'm going to need a firewire card, i was looking at this one

and i saw how it had a TI chipset and i remember reading on here about how people realy liked those, so will this card be good enough for the saffire pro 40.

Whatever firewire card you guy MUST HAVE a TEXAS INSTRUMENT CHIPSET to get the lowest latency possible. Go to the Focusrite website and look up compatible cards. Not just any old firewire card will do.

oh ok thanks, i didn't even think about that.
i was looking at a pdf of known firewire cards that work and don't work, i didn't see that card on any.
My friend just bought me it though out of impulse.......
so i guess i'll see how well it works.
