Hey dudes. A while back, I posted a song from my band, Anthem Alone. You guys had all asked for the dry files so you can give it a go at mixing. Well, here they are:

Note that there are not a TON of edits in it, and these are the the final tracks I'll be using for our album, just for a demo as of now. The drums are also not humanized completely, but I know you guys can do some of that on your own. ;)

Here's my mix from a while ago:

ENJOY~!

TEMPO:225

INSTRUCTIONS ON MIDI: I'm sorry about this part, but a few toms and ride hits/bells are not correct to the S.D.2 map, so you'll have to select all by right clicking the desired note and simply shift it to the correct spot. You can use my recording as reference if you don't know what cymbal goes where.

Ha! awesome man! great song, about to give this a go :)

btw the solo fuckin slays

i was gonna give this mix a go for fun since i actually have some time off, until i saw that all the drums are in midi. So no go for me:erk: I have no drum programming software installed currently

cool song though

Brian. I can convert them to audio stems if you'd like.. Want me to try that?

Hrm I'm having trouble with the drums in SSD. What drum map are you using?

Also, I think we're missing the file for the solo.

Oh shit.. Correct!

I remember changing the mapping around a little bit because I added some X drums, and I was fairly new to superior back then, so I didn't know how to do the midi mapping correctly. I would just select all ride hits/bell and move properly and a few toms also.

I'm sorry about that! Or, I could update the midi file if you'd like.

haha, I just noticed that I have VERY similiar riff in one of my songs (2-2-0-2--2-2-0-2-5, haven't recorded it yet) that you have as "chorus" riff (before the solo). but your song sounds way cooler. and faster.

hahah that's great!

The 2nd half of all the guitars seem to be missing, as is the whole solo.

but the whole drum track is there.

Also, if you can update the s2.0 midi file, that'd be nice aswell.

Thanks.

I'm unable to find the solo track =( I'll look a little harder for ya

Huge thanks man! Having a blast with it. However, one thing I cannot seem to understand. When I load the MIDI drum track in Reaper and fire up DFH, it's playing the drum part and a piano counterpart simultaneously

wtf?

Any ideas how to get rid of the piano?
