Waves Q1, set to a HP filter, and just automate the frequency to make a fade sound.

EDIT: I have to say, this band completely ruins their sound with that synth. They could actually be pretty good if they didn't have that shit in it.

I tried out the Q1 fade like you said. Sounds pretty sweet. I guess you learn something new every day.

Guitars: LeCto with a Mesa impulse and Redcab impulse
Bass: Amplitube 3
Drums: Superior 2 with replaced kick and toms.

My main setup is pro tools but I setup a secondary computer with cubase and thought I would give this a try. I was limited on plugins since its not my main setup. Biggest drawback was the drums had to be EZ drummer, oh well

I utilized the Reamp feature of the Fractal Audio AXE-FX II for the first time using the new Rectifier (LEAD) channel and the FAS Mosdern amps.

Drums are Toontracks Metal Machine EZX made by Andy Sneap.

Mixed in about 3 or 4 hours using Reaper as I'm waiting for PT10 (it's like playing guitar left handed...it's awkward). Almost all plugins are from Reaper.

The only thing I'm having problems with is the vocals. I can't get them to sit right. I still need to do more automation, but any bit of help would be appreciated.

Of course, any comments, thoughts or suggestions are appreciated...even compliments!
