The show was AWESOME. Probably the most fun I've ever had up there doing it. We had most of the entire KISW air staff up there with us on the mics and it made for big time laughs. We played only the music we cared about, we had tequila shot after tequila shot, and basically just raged. Really, it couldn't have played out any better. Topshelf was there, he was cracking us up the entire time, and he gave both me and Steve a bottle of that Dan Akroyd Crystal Head vodka. Unreal.
It's weird how much you never really know how much people care until they won't have another chance to tell you. We had calls allllllll night from people just wanting to wish us well and say thanks. It was almost overwhelming. I will look back on my Metal Shop days (which was basically my entire 20th decade) with much fondness and nostalgia.
Now who wants to go camping?!
