I've actually yet to read the Clone Wars era Republic series. But I should have all 9 volumes arriving tomorrow, in which case MARATHOOOON.

Ugh. I guess I should read the rest of the Yuuzhan Vong books... It was a struggle to get through the first one.
I didn't read 'em because I only like books with PICTURES. I just read the whole backstory on the star wars wikie because there are references to it in Legacy. I'm a little reluctant to get into Star Wars novels because I get the impression that most of them are really childish and dumb.
I'm of course open to any recommendations.

It's been a long time since I've read any SW novels. I remember I, Jedi being good as well as the Thrawn Trilogy by Zahn. There was also one that focused a lot on Solo and trying to impress Leia, ending up on a planet of witches and rancors...
There were comic adaptations of the thrawn trilogy made. When given the choice, I'll go for the pretty visually stimulating option!

It was would be fantastic if Thrawn was given a movie. He's witty, intelligent, power, and an art connoisseur. That's just too darn dreamy.
