Well, this is a track I've been working on for what seems like forever. I could sit all day and list faults myself so I thought I'd put it out there and ask you good folks to pass judgement (on both song and mix)

Yeah great stuff - you just got to tame that low end and pull it back some dB's - and turn the vocals up a few dB and I think you're there.

Cheers

Cheers for the comments folks.....

Aye, bass is always a problem when I mix anything because of my room which could not be worse - virtually a perfect cube, and because of desk height/available space and my height, speakers are equal distance between floor and ceiling.
As you can see a recipe for piss-poor mixing accuracy. Never enough bass on the speakers, take it into the car to blast through the subs and there's enough bass to register on the richter scale!.

Anyways, I'm in the process of tweaking (again) to sort those points, and to snatch back some overall level a bit (noticed when I slapped it on the old IPod the track was quieter than most other stuff)
I'll post the redone track once done.
