It's horrific what happened in NYC and all, but something about the "sadness" over 9/11 that so many people feel that weren't even involved into the whole matter becomes quite ironic as no-one in the media talks about the 11 of september 1973, and what role the US government played in the events those 24hours and the forthcoming years...
It's logic that the common memory has forgotten, but it's still... ironic.
