it states that it is a DI box, but it says thats when its bypassed....

can i use it as a DI box with the overdrive on at a venue, is it safe to send that overdriven signal to a desk?

i just baught one 5 mins ago... should be fun:)

Been doing just that for years. Sansamps sound good through an amp, but they sound great through the PA.
 
What? Your post makes no sense to me.


But, yes you can send any signal either the parallel out (straight DI) or the output which includes the sansamp's preamp and speaker simulation to any desk without a problem. Now you can stop bringing your amp to gigs, congrats you saved yourself a lot of work (assuming the sound guy is competent enough to put your signal in your monitor for you).
 
Another question about it - do you think the BDDI is good enough to use as a DI for eventual guitar reamping?
