About to eat some Chik-Fil-A

I stand by my original statement about Chik Fil A.

If I want a fucking awesome chicken sandwich, I'll get the honey bbq chicken strip sandwich from Whataburger.

Braum's for shakes and malts.

Chik-fil-a recently just made it's way out here within the past couple years. That shit is the most overrated fast food joint evAr. I'll give it to their customer service though...they are on point and always so damn pleasant. Also, the place is literally JAMMING 24/7....except for Sundays of course cuz, ya know, the Holy day. Never seen anything like it.

Yeah, every CFA is always packed during meal times. Its insane. And the line moves fast. I think half their appeal is that they are always so pleasant.

When i lived in dallas I had In and Out. Wtf man. That shit is horrible. It wasnt even like it was decent. Burger King is better than that crap. The whole Whataburger vs In and Out isnt even a competition.

When I visited Chicago, I had White Castle. It was a decent burger/sliders. But their bacon ranch fries were the cats ass. Damn that was tasty.

Whats the other one in dallas? Taco Casa? I remember it was kinda like taco bell but with real meat instead of cat meat

Whataburger was the go to (and IHOP) during late college nights. Whataburger was started in Corpus Christi so they're everywhere.

In 'N Out sucks huevos. I've had it in California and Dallas. Crap in both places.

Living in new mexico ruined american taco places for me. pretty much gotta make my own now

I grew up in southern Colorado. I prefer their Mexican food to Tex-Mex but the latter's quality varies around the state. Mexican food in Dallas is garbage. Down in South Texas is golden.

And green chili is life.

Ugh. When i would visit albuquerque they would want to put that green chili or red sauce on everything from eggs to burgers. Totally ruined it.

There are some good independent Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants in the Dallas area. The local "gem" El Fenix has never impressed me, though. Cool decor, bland food.

As awful as it is/was, I still crave Pancho's Mexican Buffet from time to time. Dunno if any of my fellow Texans ever "raised the flag," but mmmm I could go for some hot sopaipillas.
