Have you guys noticed that since Brandstrom joined the band, DT haven't had any acoustic passages. Is it because having a keyboardist made them a bit redundant or is there another reason, have the band-members spoken on this?

I would not agree. The first counter-example that comes to my mind is Format C for Cortex. I guess there are more.
Hmmm, where do you hear acoustic guitar in Format C for Cortex? That clean passage in bridge at 2:25 is obviously electric guitar, unless you mean some other part?
Oh, my bad. I thought clean electric passages counted too. There're not that many of them these days either.

Nah, don't agree; the band pretty much stopped doing acoustics after The Mind's I. Then again, have you heard "Inside the Particle Storm"?
They've stopped doing acoustics after Projector (Auctioned), yet I wonder why. Maybe since Martin tried his hand at electric, he no longer wanted to go back to acoustic? (from what I understand Martin played most of the acoustic parts).
