So I had an assignment back in June that gave me the freedom the create anything I wanted (musically speaking). So I asked a friend to help me make some songs, turned out he had some family issues show up so we had to make everything in a hurry. We wrote 3 songs and recorded them all, write lyrics, sing (he doesn't even have much singing experience) in one evening until dawn. So I had to hurry back home, program drums, record bass, record keys and mix this shit, all this in an afternoon, since I had classes that day. There was no time for solos or better arrangement. The final presentation was in the day after.
I never messed with the mix again, I might if we decide to re-arrange some parts etc... I think it turned out pretty reasonable for a super pressured work.

Anyway guitars were a Washburn DC-60 > SM81 + AKG 420 > Digi 002
Vocals were with a AKG420
Bass was recorded with my Genz Benz Shuttle 6 into my fucking awesome M-Audio FastTrack Pro.
Drums were AD replaced with slate (I prefer AD overheads)
