[Spruce Goose]

I went and saw this masterpiece at the movies yesterday.
Brilliant. I loved every minute of it.
Being a big Beatles fan, I was a little hesitant but the music was all done so well and the story was pretty good too.

If you haven't heard of it, It's a musical love story set in the time of the Vietnam war. The characters all sing and the songs are all Beatles songs. You'd honestly think that the songs really were written for the film and they kind of act as the dialogue in alot of places...

Some weird trippy moments in the film (the whole scene with Bono, and Eddy Izzard doing For the Benefit of Mr Kite was quite out there) but overall, it was an awesome watch and I can't get the new interpretations of the songs out of my head. Can't wait to see it again.

has anyone seen The Assassination of Jesse James.... yet? I wanna see it, but if it is so long, I am afraid my attention span won't hold out

I haven't, but I've heard it's good, as long as you don't expect it to be an action-packed, shoot-em-up Western. It's basically about how Robert Ford became obsessed with Jesse James their relationship, as far as I know.

They say Casey Affleck is absolutely brilliant in it.
