Age difference in bands?

Age shouldn't matter, but I hate that I still think it does. I feel weird whenever I play with people that are younger than me, but I'm ok with playing with people that are older than me. It's probably just because I'm getting older and I can't stand playing with people who are younger than me, haha

In your case, they are definately older, and quite a bit older too.... I don't know, I would atleast try it out I think.

For me it's alla about the social things ouside the band. Can you hang out with a 50 year old? Have a beer, play xbox or whatever?
Doesn't really matter if a guy is the best drummer i've ever heard if we don't have anything in common beside the band. That won't work in the long run.
Also, if members have children that constantly needs attention, or a girlfriend who says "Stay home with me tonight, your friends can manage without drums/guitar/bass/vocals" we won't play together anymore.

My biggest age difference was, me - 19, oldest 36. No problems at all. We we're all equally immature and talked about wierd porn
