Sexy guitar!
But 8 strings would definitely be too many for me.
I have my eyes on this one : http://www.rondomusic.com/interceptorpro727ebnatsatin.html
I really love the natural look of it! :)
But the thing that keeps me off from buying it is, that when you live in Europe you have absolutely no warranty for your guitar. Even if it gets damaged while the shipping process, you're on your own. Am I right?
Btw. How long have you been waiting for you guitar since you ordered it?
I could imagine that it takes quite a bit...

Yeah, i imagined that also. I took From US to Finland, 3 days. That's fucking insane i know. I guess i had luck :DDD 2 weeks would be more like it. :)
That's a beautiful 7 :O

Does anyone seriously need more than 6 strings? I've been playing guitar for like 10 years and never played on a 7 string but I figure the more strings you add wouldn't it make the neck more uncomfortable to play on?

All just a question of getting used to it - I have found that testing a 7 string in a store doesn't really do it justice.
I've been playing 6 strings only and every time i picked up a 7 in the local music store here I was just to fascinated of the low B and ended up playing the same shit I would on a 6 string, just lower. You can't really figure out how to make good use of the extended range in a 15-30 minutes test in a guitar shop.
If I was ever to purchase one (and I probably will some time in the near future), then I'll just order one and if I don't like after 3-4 weeks send it back or sell it.

To be honest I'd be happy with anything for low tuning as long as it's a baritone. Got a 25.5" RG setup for drop A/G at the moment and I enjoy playing it, but would like something that can go lower without getting all flubby.
