AIM trouble

i'm somehow locked out of both of my AIM accounts.... it doesn't matter what client i use... AIM, iChat, aim.com web interface, meebo.... doesn't matter... i cannot sign on. i just get his message:

>You have attempted to sign on too many times. Please try again in a few minutes.<

even after restarting both computer and modem, and waiting many hours.

anyone else ever had this happen? any ideas?

I've been having major issues with AIM via GMail since Monday, right across the board - multiple accounts accessed via multiple computers on different networks... yesterday they just sat and tried to log in with no success. Today they were on for maybe 5 mins before they were disconnected. One other person (that I know of, anyways) has also had issues during the same timeframe. Maybe an AIM issue affecting only certain service blocks?

+1, my AIM via Gmail was so fucking buggy the past few days and wouldn't connect at all. It has been solid today though...go figure..this is only from my work computer.

Also Loren, ever heard of Digsby? If I'd ever use a multi-client EVER (fuck that,) it'd be the one.

Anything related to AOL has the tendency to change ports on you...wouldn't hurt to double check which port(s) an IM service would use make sure they're all open.

Naw man, Digsby is pretty legit. Seamless integration of every social networking account imaginable + addons and themes that'll make your jaw drop. It'd be nice to see it for Mac aswell, but whaddayagonnado.
