Air Raid - Swedish retro true metal

Yet another band that harkens back to a time long passed in metallic terms of course. The band sounds like a mix between Killers era Maiden and Omen with JD Kimball. The guitar solos and galloping riffs are pure Maiden and i love the solos especially they are very melodic and fluid. The singer has a nice throaty voice as well which is quite close to Kimball but not quite as good but great anyway. If you can't get enough of the retro bands then watch out for Air Raid and their new EP cause both these songs rule badly!

For some reason I think Air Raid is a really funny name for a band, in the sense that it just SCREAMS "heavy fucking metal!!!!" haha
