AKG Headphones + mobile rig

What do you think about AKG headphones?
I need a good closed headphones because at the moment I have a mobile rig and when I record some guitars or some drums, I am in the same room of the drums/cabs so I need something that could insulate my ears from the outside and at the same time that I can use as monitor to check how the guitars and the drums sound...

Finally I bouht the 271S...Very good headphones.
Do you have some additional cable to make the headphones cable longer? It's 3m. long but probably I need a longer cable when I record with my laptop

Pick up an extension from whatever your equivalent of Radio Shack is. You don't want to add length to the included cable, it's a bitch and three quarters so don't think about it... just pick up an extension.
