It's funny that it doesn't remind you of Uriah Heep considering Will formed the band essentially as a Uriah Heep worship project.
Great 70s Heavy Rock shit here. Reminds me of Hawkwind, Ashbury, and Thin Lizzy.

I'll probably get hate from the metal elitists here by Tarot sounds very similar to Ghost in my opinion. Not a bad thing to me, I just listened to it and I enjoyed it.
I feel like this shit is underrated. I have a fucking tape of this and it still sounds fresh to this day, somehow. Good stuff. Fowley is kinda the man.
Tarot sound like Ghost? Nah I don't hear it, kinda douchey to imply that if we disagree with you we're elitists though.
Nah I was implying that most people on this board who don't like Ghost come across as metal elitists to me. Idk if you can't hear the similarity between the two songs I posted I think there's something wrong with you. Both bands are going for a proto-metal style, although Ghost is clearly heavier (and better but that's just my opinion)
Their first record was okay, second is trash, third might be cool, but they sound like that one throwback band for people that don't even really listen to anything from the era they're throwing back to, because if they did they'd see straight through that stiff ass fucking production and total lack of warmth that is such an integral part of why the sounds of the 70's ruled.
I think Tarot are heavier, Ghost are too sterile for my taste, they go for a 70's sound but completely fail in my opinion.

I take Tarot any day, call me what you want.
