I remember only staying interested with the first 4 MR albums, but I will try Mystification and The Deluge again today.

Mystification is really consistent. I think that "Dragon Star" is the only part of the album that dips a little bit in quality.

If there's one thing about MR it's that it's slowly growing on me. The Deluge kinda dragged IMO but that'll probably change over time.

Also, I think that Crystal Logic is probably only their fourth or fifth best album, despite having a few of their best tracks. "The Veils of Negative Existence" might be my favorite song by the band.

Summoning - Nightshade Forests

"Feeling Free Again" is the only weak song on that album and it's not even bad or anything. Masterpiece.

i've kinda gone off DCD these days. never liking brendan's vox was part of the problem actually. favourite neoclassical/darkwave/etc band is elend by a million miles.

I guess sometimes Brandan sounds like Morrissey the guy from The Smiths, but I don't mind it. I like his vocals.

Elend is awesome. I've had them but haven't listened in a long while.

Summoning - Nightshade Forests

One of the best Summoning releases. Habbanan Beneath the Stars is probably their best song (which roughly translates to the best song ever recorded +/- a few Bathory tunes).
Whats everyones top Summoning tracks?

Mine's probably:

2. A Distant Flame Before The Sun
3. Elfstone
4. Old Mornings Dawn
5. Khazad Dum (actually really unsure about this one, could probably change it to atleast 5 other tunes that I think could qualify).

Difficult for me to do as I only own Minas Morgul, Dol Guldur and Nightshade Forests so I've only heard a couple of tracks from each of the others.

Favourites from those include: Mirkwood, Kortirion Among the Trees, Nightshade Forests, Elfstone and The Passing of the Grey Company.
