Svolder - Desecration of the Five Holy Pillars

I've seen this ridiculous cover before but never listened to it. I'll have to give it a listen if it does sound like GBK!

Svolder's vocalist/guitarist has his own black metal project called Intolerance, which rules.
It has a somewhat strange sound, almost like epic metal (but very primitively expressed) mixed with black metal.

The best anime OST ever. Yuki Kajiura and See-Saw is the top dog of anime music for sure. The anime is great too, but atleast 30% is probably because of the atmosphere the music creates.

nah, instead you get a sloppy band worshiping of one of the sloppiest bands of all time. Not that its a bad thing though.

.hack//Sign is one of those anime I couldn't escape hearing about back when I started foruming and gradually just forgot all about, need to get on that.

Also, Sleepy Hollow, I vaguely remember hearing them before and that sounds better than I remember, need to revisit them as well. That ambient part reminds me a bit of the Terran mission briefing song, obviously came way after 1989-1992, but just in case maybe you're thinking of that?
