One of the few newer thrash albums that holds up well. I never get tired of this album. It is a shame their new one is forgettable.

That's surprising, I was hooked the first time I heard it, though by that point I'd been following Obliteration since their first album was released and Nekropsalms especially accustomed me to their sound.
You should definitely give it another try, great disgusting death metal with an obscure bent. Also, some Autopsy worship goes a long way.

The biggest issue with that album was never the actual album itself but the fact that they chose Revolution to be the first song released from it. Not a terrible song mind you, but not exactly the best pick to show off Halford's return, especially with songs like Judas Rising, Hellrider and fucking Demonizer on the album.
I know there's little innovative on it, but it's a really fucking good album. The songs are catchy and have a classic vibe to them. A good balance of their speed metal stuff and their more rock based stuff. The most underrated Priest album.

This is some really good stuff, listened to it 3 times already today. This album in particular has a unique Black/Doom/Folk vibe which are my 3 favorite metal genres by quite a margin. Dare I say better than Nokturnal Mortum? Yeah. It is.

That album suffers from being too long. If it were 15-20 minutes shorter I would've rated it higher that year.
