Finally got this in the mail. I've been anticipating a full-length from these guys for a few years now and as expected, this does not disappoint. I mean it's basically 80s Brazilian black/thrash with a more professional sound but I think that's exactly what modern black metal needs. No "atmosphere" in sight, just relentless riffs, near constant blasting and bestial thrashing carnage.

have you ever had a proper look at his ratings? i doubt that's among his most controversial around here lol

i.e. he also gave awaken the guardian 2.5, crystal logic 2.5, first daze here 2.5, dimension hatross/nothingface 2.5, ride the lightning 2, battle cry 2 etc
