[Oblivious Maximus]

The Battle of Tyr/Odin's Court/Valhalla is probably some of the best material in their discography. What an incredible album. Same goes for some of the faster tracks like The Lawmaker and the awesome opening epic that is Anno Mundi.

The Lawmaker has one of Iommi's best solo's. Pure shred. And yeah, that entire suite is untouchable. Valhalla is the definition of anthemic.

I just realized that End Zone's bassist, Roman Senkin, passed away September of last year. His work on this album and End Zone's sophomore release as well as his contributions to Catharsis were great. Sad to see that he's gone.

You know what, my fav piece from the album is the intro. It says much about release I guess. It's a godly intro though.
