I understand that maybe the 80s got to them a little, but this is great and I don't get why it's seemingly less appreciated than their first three. I know MA reviews aren't the be all end all, but I can tell this is a bit more of a commercial one, but it's like Motorhead's Iron Fist or Another Perfect Day. Super cool and it reminds me a bit of Balls to the Wall era Accept.
Greek tech-thrash, probably Vektor-inspired but way tighter than their bloated LPs. Maybe some Sacral Rage in there?
If you're as upset as I am that Doomsword hasn't released an album since 2011, get on this. Highly purist epic trad/doom that does everything right.
One look at the band photo tells you all you need to know. This is the work of middle-aged dorks with nothing to prove to anyone, making music that is as hermetic and singular as it is infectiously melodic. FFO: Slough Feg, Pagan Altar, Bretwaldas?
