I like the late 80s-early 90s hip hop stuff, as well as modern death rap like Necro and Brotha Lynch Hung. (The song Meat Cleaver in particular by BLH is a masterpiece).

So I think I have the pleasure of being the first to post about this album, which surprises me. I'm not normally a fan of tech death, but this band's sophomore release seems to have propelled them right into my neck of the woods, as disappointing as that might be for some of you.



The music blurs the line between atmospheric rock, jazz fusion, and technical death metal, which doesn't sound very impressive in its own right. What sets this sophomore album apart is how well the transitions flow, which makes everything listenable and enjoyable instead of showboating.
