I had just checked out Satanasword which definitely has a lot in common with Karisma (maybe too much...) but Karmagmassacre wasn't on my radar, thanks!

Never gave this much time when I was getting into death metal, re-dl'ed it expecting to find it boring but I'm digging it. Cooler strutting vibe than I was expecting.

EDIT: But 'I Bow to None' just came on and I swear this is reminding me very strongly of an established thrash band. Something from Bonded By Blood (Exodus album obv)? Hell's Breath actually I think, minus the melody line. I need to look into this.

No wait, a YouTube comment got it, Metallica's Shortest Straw actually. Just the first couple verses but still funny. I definitely dig the thrashiness of this, for some reason I thought this album was more of a Death/Morgoth kind of deal.

And now on Painted Skulls the guy's doing Lars Ulrich drum fills, lol, loving this.

First listen, for somewhat wanky neoclassical Japanese power metal from 1997, this is surprisingly riffy and strong.

As far as prog metal goes, it's extremely well-rounded.
