I listen to plenty of NS bands so I don't really give a shit. I just can't wait for the band to get all pissy when Antifa shuts down one of their shows. Well check this one out. The songs are much shorter, it's pretty rough and there's not much of a folk presence. I agree that their songs can plod on for quite some time but when you're in the mood to invest in one of those albums you mentioned they have this special atmosphere that's hard to replicate.

I'll give it a shot. I actually really like the idea of what they're trying to do - blend black metal with folk in an epic fashion that evokes feelings of their homeland. I just didn't think the execution was there.
