Yes to this. I don't understand anyone speaking badly of the production on this. It's perfect sounding to these ears of mine. The riffs, the song writing, everything is quality. Only thing that can be better than that this year is the new Trench Hell... whenever that decides to surface.

I remember being really psyched for the first Assaulter but the first song turned me off instantly with some ear-fucking production from what I remember. Sounded like ass.

I have a copy of "thresholds" which I bought without knowing about the band at all. It was a long time ago but I always find myself digging it for about 10 minutes or so and then grow very tired of it. Overrated according to me.

However it was easily a few years since I tried to listen to it. Maybe I have changed my mind but I dont think so.

Excellent choice! THis album really is a masterpiece! So is their recent CD called "Omnivium".
