Yeah. I discovered them a few weeks ago. Captain Morgan's Revenge is a cool CD, from the cover art to the last track. I'm not sure what they call that genre -- Pirate Metal? It's like Folk/Pagan Metal meets the high seas. I dig it.

From what i've heard they are good. Not great. Something that'd be cool for a party, but not something i'd listen to much.

Korpiklaani is one of those bands on the "need to see before I die" list...and Alestorm would certainly be up there with the appropriate support acts for a Korpiklaani tour. We can always hope that Paganfest becomes an annual thing, with different pagan/folk/viking/black metal bands.

The vocals are some of what I like most about it. As for being gimmicky...I love it! They play the role and that's how it should be!
