Alexi at NAMM 2009

Roope played RRs non stop till ESP made him go for another thing (I supose they did or he did so he wouldn't ''copy Alexi''). Vai plays exclusively Jems, so does Satch with his guitars, so does Petrucci with his, so do Kerry King (well, he has that ugly ass Warlock he sometimes uses, but hsi trademark guitars are the Vs) and Jeff Hanneman and a shitload of others. There are players that change guitars and others that just have 3098475837 of the same shape. I really don't see Alexi with any other guitar, not even with a normal V.

That Vai pic is before he designed the Jems, and the Petrucci pic is him using a sig Ibanez model that he had like 4 of before he switched companies. And now he has the Musicman things, he only uses them, which is again what he said.

I still say plenty of guitarists famous for a particular guitar still use at least one other at times.

And I definitely contend that ESP "made" him do anything. Least of all not play an RR (ESP or Jackson) because of "copying" Alexi.
