They're both good at what they both do. Alexi is a much more accomplished shredder than Randy was. Besides, I'll probably get flamed majorly for this but I reckon Randy is a case of "he died too early and he did some good things so he's better than everyone automatically". *runs away now*

and this shreddingthing has gone to far, everyone is trying to be fast as a rabbit fucking but they miss the whole point. i mean, rhoads was a classical educated guitarplayer. i still love alexi's music and playing but you know. if you do a solo like the two in mr. crowley you should be worshipped forever.
and if "rhoads did some cool stuff but died and now he's the best". what the fuck is hendrix then?
