Alexi Wildchild vs Anders Friden

Being a bigger fan of CoB than In Flames I vote Alexi. He sings the word "HATE" more and better than Anders!

It depends what do you think is growling.. But anyway Alexi is A LOT better vocalist.. My god, Anders in that Tokyo Live cd.. I was soooo disapointted.. And even that goes for a vote for Alexi, ´cause it totally sucks if the vocalist sucks on stage.. I´m not saying Anders totally sucks on stage but too close And anyway, on the cd, Alexi sounds a lot better, in my opinion of course..

listen a few In Flames' bootlegs and then say about his voice. Tokyo Showdown is the worst live album ever. i don't know why, but it's truth. anyway... Alexi is fucking boring. always screaming. Anders screming, growling and singing clean vocals. who is better? and i don't called Alexi's voice on demos growling. it was screaming, maybe sometimes growling

Exactly, "Tokyo" is not the live album to take for granted. There are way better live prfomances by In Flames!!!!

hehehe... the sweetest singer is Martex of Enter Chaos. why? because she is my wife. and growling much better than Anders, Alexi and most death metal singer

Hey people, just thought I'd bring it into the light that you don't know what you're talking about (most of you)... you can't truly judge Alexi's singing voice because in CoB his voice is locked into an almost constant animal scream. In Flames's singer goes all over the place. Kimberly said in an interview that Alexi has a very good clean singing voice but refuses to use it for CoB because it wouldn't fit the rest of the band.

However, on Follow the Reaper his vocals are partially clean constantly, and you must be deaf to not hear the amazing talent (especially since HE'S PLAYING GUITAR TOO)! In Flames's singer is just a singer I thought (therefore, unfair comparison: one instrument is infinitely easier to handle than two!).
