your attitude isnt uncommon with a lot of the old AinC fans.

HOWEVER, Layne was NOT AinC. he was a very important part, but he wasnt in it alone. it's Jerry's and Sean's and Mike's music, too.
they were more than respectful of Layne when they chose to stop touring because they didnt want him dying of an overdose out on the road, many miles from home.

they were more than respectful in the mourning period they took after his death.

now they want to get back out there and feel that kick of doing live shows and making the music they love. they should be allowed to do that.

Layne made a personal choice to put that needle in his arm and kill himself. i miss him, but he died. they didnt.
