All I Want - A Day To Remember's New song.

I dont know if its just the headphones i'm listening on, but this mix has no dimension to it. Its just spread flat from left to right with no depth.

All the lead guitars are masked by the vocals which are spread too wide. The kick sounds like its missing all its high frequencies.

It must be the headphones i'm listening on... cause i'm really not digging it.

Is it just me or is this vocalist very hard to understand at times? Takes me a second or two after he says something to figure out what he said.

Mix sounds pretty good. Hard to hear the vocals at times. The guitars are pretty buried, but it seems to be common with Bendeth mixes. Drums are super loud... and there is one annoying ass crash cymbal or splash that is also featured in Breaking Benjamin's last cd by Bendeth. I cannot get over it, it's so fucking unbearably present and shimmery. It's coming out of the left speaker, only occasionally hit. Ruins the whole mix for me.

god i was wondering why that snare sound like bendeth. well it figures after doing paramore, set your goals, and papa roach I would be able to pick his snares out like a js mix. I like this new song a lot. it is refreshing to hear them without screaming and some good ol pop punk roots.

holy shit.....i had no idea this guy did that paramore and set your goals mix. I believe the same dude tracked both of those albums, so i figured he mixed it as well.

Good to know though. Although, this mix is terrible compared to that set your goals mix...

So much better then home sick, song wise, i dig the mix too but yeah i didn't know benedith did the new set your goals, that mix is fucking god. straight up perfect

also. looks like their going back to the For those who have heat fucking stoked

I am pretty sure there is no way this is a Bendeth tracking. It does not sound like his drums or guitars at all. i just listened to Papa Roach and Paramore and this ADTR is not his work. The drums sound like they were tracked in a small room. Maybe someone knows the producer here?
Mike Green produced SYG, and I love the way that sounds too. A mixer can only work with what he is given. I too am going to wait until this comes out, sounds real low quality and drums are super irritating, vocals messy.

They tracked with Andrew Wade http://thewadestudio.com/

I'm personally not a fan of any of his work, however i'm sure the snare is 100% resampled, so the room they tracked in shouldn't be a factor(only the cymbals)

Yeah, they always track with Wade. His drum room is TINY and wayyyy dead sounding. The snare must be completely replaced. I respect the hell out of Andrew, but his stuff doesn't sound THAT good. He gets lots of work, though. He's obviously doing something right.
