Alright - let's start with something silly

Does anyone else think Vintersorg's clean singing voice could be easily mistaken for Dan Swano's?

I think, in particular, it was the comparisons of the opening of "Ars Memorativa" to the chorus of "Revival" from Nightingale's The Closing Chronicles that I had running through my brain when I came to this thought. There are lots of other times when they sound really very little alike.

Nope, he doesn't sound like Dan Swanö at all. He does sound a lot like Ozzy though.

I think Vintersorg sounds a lot like this vocalist I heard in this band once........i think it was called Otyg. He also sounds a lot like that guy in that other band i heard.............i think it's called.........Vintersorg

well I know I must have heard Dan Swano (at least stadistiks would say so, considering the number of bands of Swano, but can't really remember them....if it's the guy singing on Nightingale then I would say NO!

as for Ozzy...sorry????????????

vintersorg doesn't sound like anything I heard before, and I heard quite much methinks

Yeah, I don't think he sounds like Swano (Nightingale, Pan-Thy-Monium, half of Edge of Sanity, Unicorn, and a couple others, including one under his name... "Unicorn".

Vintersorg's vocals come across as being pretty unique to me ~shrug~
although when listening to Nightingale, Dan has an uncanny resemblance to David Coverdale(Whitesnake)/Scott Stapp(Creed)... well to me at any rate, then again i could be on crack
