Am I the only Maiden fan that can't listen to "The Trooper?"

That was kind of harsh! I think the band puts out great material every year. There isn't an album I don't like. While most of what they put out today pales in comparison to their early years, it's still very good music.

I like the old stuff only...after that...its over for me...actually, only 3 songs I like on Powerslave...Aces High, Powerslave, and Rime...thats it. everyone has their opinion and someone wanted to know about 2 minutes song and just putting my likes and dislikes from the original band...

we always soundcheck with the trooper cuz it's got it all - dual guitar harmonies in the intro, the solo vocal section in the first verse, the relentless galloping bass line, 3 part vocal harmonies in the chorus and the double lead - makes short work of getting good stage levels. i never tire of playing or hearing it even after playing it twice a night. the lyrics have great imagery and storyline - it's a fun ride!

Hmmm......no I can't say I'm tired of the Trooper or any other classic Maiden song because the only time I hear it is when I play it (for the most part) because not only do I dwell in the land of sand but also in a place dominated by mormonism, country western, rap, hip hop and emo :puke: however that WILL NOT be the case on the 30th thanks to the ladies......WOOHOO! :headbang: :kickass:
