Paganblood is partially right. Wacken Open Air never have the same band two years in a row, therefore we're not playing this year. Maybe we'll be back next year, maybe not. Who knows...

Fabalmighty, just come to europe in june man, AA is going by many festivals :)

and by the way, while i'm at it, seeing that "ardberg" is posting here,.. i read an interview where you said AA didnt have immediate plans for writing a new album, is it still the case? when can we expect another headbang album?! :D
cheers! see you mo-fos at the fury fest! (you better not cancel at the last minute! ;))

hahaha! Belgar, I'm seriously thinking of going to Graspop too...I've been there in 2003 to see Apocalyptica ( who will play at WOA this year!) and had a great time. Besides, signing sessions are being organised, so...

btw, it's Ardbeg, after a whiskey, not ardberg. Ted posts under Laphroaig, also a whiskey, and Freddie posts under Famous Grouse...seeing a pattern? Get Olli and Johan S. in on the action, Jameson and Johnny Walker perhaps.....

T'ja  I am really sure I will be there in Dessel, the plane is so damn expensive for a 10 day trip. Oh well ... didn't Apocalyptica play with Rammstein? My brother saw them in Rijsel this year.

Yes, they did! I couldn't go but I saw Rammstein in November, in Antwerp and will see Apocalyptica ( again!!) in March in Brussels.
Seems that a lot of people liked the combination "R+A"...in Paris they even played a song together during the encore. I saw the video.

Are yopu already tired of the last one?

lol no, i probably listen to at least one AA song each day, but i'd like to here some new stuff once more :) it was fucking great when the last album came out and to discover some new stuff after knowing all the rest by heart, so i just want some more, but i'm definately not tired of any AA albums. one of the rare bands i dont get tired of listening to :worship: (especially versus the world)

According to the Canadian Apo fans who saw them, it was a great show indeed.
I think their shows are great too but I used to play cello myself, so...

See...black/death metal is good for being well rounded musically...There are so many different styles, and so many different instruments. At one point I heard Dimmu Borgir had like an orchestra of about 60 people with them while recording DCA. Now all of a sudden, I freikin love violins, cello's, pianos, trumpets etc. because now I see that you can headbang to that shit. 5 months ago, I would have called you a fag for playing the cello...But now I have a greater appreciation for it now that I can headband to the cello...and now I say your cool for playing the cello...Sorry if this is really unorganized and really crappy sounding...i'm le tired...(and yes, ive been a death/black metal head for about 5 months. it all started when a buddy showed me Dimmu Borgir - Puritania...then it was Amon Amarth - Death in Fire....then Vader - Xeper...And now everyone says im screwed in the head...just wait until I get my bullet belt)
