Amp setting for guitar

They probably won't tell you.

But many of us use this equalizer setting: Low:8, Mid:3, High:8

Also make sure to downtune your guitar for whatever song you're playing (that's a whole different topic).

I use a Spider 3 15, which I know is an older amp, but it's amazing for Metallica, Iron Maiden, Five Finger Death Punch, etc. I have my drive set at 6, my bass set between 6 and 8, so 6, 7, or 8. My mid is set lower, at 2, and my channel volume at 6 or 7.
