Currently I'm recording my stuff over the FX send of my Amp over a 5m unbalanced cable into my audio interface's preamp. Speaker simulation over Nebula.

Everything's working fine but I just don't feel well running a 5m cable unbalanced :D So I think about using a passive DI box for getting a balanced signal after my FX send.

I'm just a bit unsure about impedance missmatching. I did not find any information what impedance an amp's FX send has and if a passive DI Box is the right solution for my intend.

Any experiences/tipps? :)

Write an email to Engl support to ask what's FX impedance. For sure DI-Box will make a job especially because mic input of your balanced input on audio interface will sound less noisy than instrument.
