Amps that play nice with the 5150.

Framus Cobra
Rectos (are there other mesas that sound good?)
Madison Divinity (really liked the song I heard with this amp and 6505)

Krankenstein sounded good with the 5150 on the DÅÅTH.

Powerball would be really, really interesting.

So would Savage.

Powerball and 5150 go nicely indeed. Not quite the 5150/ Recto, but still cool.

I like to mix the crunch and lead channels of the 5150. Gets a pretty nice contrast actually if you're a cheap ass and only own one tube amp (a 5150.)

I've done it and don't mind this at all, in fact I usually throw in some different boost pedals for different flavas.

Don't know about a 5150, but the ENGL Savage 120 and the 6505+ work AMAZINGLY well together.
