Newest mix. I dunno how I'd describe their style, it's got metal riffs but a grunge influence. The "lyrics" were written in two minutes and are just stupid.

Drums are natural toms, Kick is 35% replaced and snare is 50/50.

Bass is a Precision into a Countrman 85 DI box, Sansamp RBI and a Turbo Rat.

Guitar is 6505 into Marshall 4x12 with V30's, no boost. SM57 just off centre. Guitar was a Fender Cyclone.

Voice, SM7B. The gangs were done with a C1000.

First mix I've used VCC on. It's pretty dirty sounding(which is what they are after.. not super polished), the bass especially. Could do with some input..

I'm only able to listen on laptop speakers right now (granted, they're awesome for laptop speakers) but I think what you have so far works really well for the style. It has that sort of raw feel while still sounding hi quality. Great job.

I would suggest putting more reverb on your drums, at least the snare.

Much better! The drums are breathing a lot more now, which contributes to the sort of raw/live sound they're going for.

I'm really digging the song and the mix! :headbang:
