You call that bad singing? You are ignorant, Joey is the better choice and always will be the best choice for the anthrax sound

Charlie: The relationship with Joey is really good now but we won't be doing a new record with him.

Scott: Exactly.

Bush said that he liked Joey's vocals on their classic albums:

Imhotep: Do you like Joey's vocals?

John Bush: "Yeah, Joey is a great singer. He did awesome things with ANTHRAX and he has a very unique voice. I think he was a very important part of ANTHRAX."

Joey was a very important part of Anthrax. I'm just not a fan of his vocals anymore. I guess i am ignorant or whatever cause i don't like exactly what you like anymore. I want new music, i'm not trying to relive the 80's or any era. Including Bush as much as i like Bush, i'm ready for something new.

Charlie: Scott and I really like this guy that Rob Caggiano [current ANTHRAX lead guitarist] told us about. His name is Dan Nelson and he can sing his ass off.

Scott: Sick voice. Like Bush on steroids.

i'd like to hear Worship Music with Nelson's vocals but i think they will probably put it in the trash can if they haven't already. i'm sure for the fans Anthrax-shows with Nelson could be enjoyable but a whole tour with Dan would be very displeasing for poor Franky, getting Nelson's feces on his back or even his head after every show is something i don't wish on him.

Joey still sounds incredible there. Unbelievable they sold this guy out.

Y'know, I think Antrhax would sound new-and-improved with Dave Grohl on drums, somebody from Kings of Leon on rhythm guitar, and some emo-screamo guy on vocals. Just leave Bello on bass so we can still call it Anthrax. That would be all new-and-modern, post-grunge, not-reliving-the-80s-and-90s, man.

You know what's fucking comical about all this? You never hear bush or joey shit talking each other. They're just two good singers who happened to have their wallets lifted by the same whore.

If anyone missed it, my quote was made sarcastically toward DMC's post about getting yet another singer so as not to relive the `80's.
