I'm contemplating changing the speakers in my marshall 2x12, i have the g12t-75's in there at the mo, and i'm seeing a lot of people saying about having both these and the vintage 30's in there when talking about a 4x12, basically what is your opinion on doing this? and would it have the same effect in a 2x12 instead?

the question is worded wierd... i don't understand it. if you want my opinion about what to load into your 2x12 enclosure though, l say load it with the vintage 30ls.

I think he's asking if you can mix two speaker in a 2x12 and get good results like some do in 4x12 cabs.

Yes you can... GT75 and Vintage30 are a good combination, but the V30 will be much loader than the other speaker though

bah,.... tell hell with that.. load it with Vintage 30's and be done with it. that's my opinion, which is what he asked for.
