THIS WEEK ON THE CLASSIC METAL SHOW: Sometimes new bands are comprised of old favorites from the world of Classic Metal. One such band is Another Animal. This new band features Shannon Larkin and Whit Crane of Ugly Kid Joe fame. For those of you that are into the newer metal, the band features three current members of Godsmack! Their self titled new album showcases elements of both old and new, and is a real pleaser for fans of hard, melodic metal. We'll do a new Music Listening Party for ANOTHER ANIMAL, and both Shannon Larkin and Whitfield Crane will be checking in on the show to talk about all of their miscellaneous projects.
Favorites of THE CLASSIC METAL SHOW Helloween are back once again with a brand new album called GAMBLING WITH THE DEVIL. This CD not only continues with the brilliance the band recaptured with their KEEPER OF THE SEVEN KEYS: THE LEGACY release, but finds them moving into a much heavier direction as well. Full of fire and amped up more than the band has ever been since Andi Deris joined the band, GAMBLING WITH THE DEVIL rocks hard. We'll do a New Music Listening Party for GAMBLING WITH THE DEVIL Saturday.
Finally, another favorite is back after a long time away from the hard rock scene. That band is The Cult. Their new album is called BORN INTO THIS, and picks up right where the band left off. We'll do a New Music Listening Party for the new Cult release, and hopefully the guys in the band will decide that the CMS is cool enough for them to grace with their presence.
