Another Question on PC-Recording

Hey guys, One short question:

When i'm recording something with my pc (steinberg nuendo) there is a small delay between ths stuff i play to (mostly the metronome) and my recorded stuff. Is this because of my Processor speed or the soundcard?

It sounds like a synchronization issue.
Cubase v2's main got upgrade form v1 that's supposed to fix any problems with synchronization, so if you update your nuendo, it might adress exactly your issues.

I have another question, though:
In Cubase, when you turn on the track monitor , you get about 600 miliseconds of delay between what you are playing and what comes out of the speakers.
I suppose it's because some sort of buffering, does anybody know how to lower the values?
